  • James G. Davis Construction Corporation awards Potomac Center-Phase One to Arban & Carosi, Inc.
    • Phase one of a two phase project. Phase One is composed of approximately 75,000 ft2 of precast making  703 pieces.  Precast will be located on the West, East and South Elevations.  East Elevation from 1st floor to 8th floor is existing concrete structure with new CIP columns. The West and South elevation is new CIP construction up to the 8th floor.  The footprint of the building above the 8th to the 11th floor is new structural steel.
    • The entire project will be erected with contractors tower crane.  Precast erection is scheduled to start April 2002.
  • Clark/Gilford joint venture awards Arban & Carosi, Inc. BWI - Central Parking Garage.
    • Cast in place structure clad in Architectural Precast.  Approximately 240,000 ft2 of precast.  Two helical exterior ramps are also clad in precast.  The project also consists of two structural precast exterior stairs. 
    • Erection is scheduled for March 2002.

  • Bovis Lend Lease, Inc. awards Westfields Parcel 43 To Arban & Carosi, Inc.
    • 7 story steel structure clad with 31,000 ft2 of detailed precast spandrel panels with half round column covers at the building base.

June 08, 2001

  • Turner Construction awards Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine-Broadway Research Building  to Arban & Carosi, Inc.
    • 12 story addition to JHU.  The first 10 stories is comprised of a concrete structure.  The remaining two floors are open and built with structural steel.   They will house roof top units and various other mechanical units.
    • The North, East and West Elevations are clad with precast concrete and the remaining South Elevation is finished in Curtainwall.
    • The project is composed of approximately 66,000 ft2 of precast making  310 pieces.  The North Elevation will be erected with a mobile tower crane.  The remaining elevations will be erected with Turner's tower crane.  The heaviest piece weighs in at 40,500 lbs.

  • Final site photos updated for Two Irvington Center at King Farm
  • Architects rendering added to our George Washington University, 1957 E street.
  • Hitt Contracting, Inc. awards  E.J. Randolph to Arban & Carosi, Inc. 
    • 5 Story concrete structure with approximately 27,000 ft2 of precast.  
    • Precast erection scheduled for September 1, 2001.

     

  • James G. Davis Construction Co. awards Capital One to Arban & Carosi, Inc.
    • 14 story steel structure with approximately 116,000 ft2 of precast. Column covers receive a deep fluting with a proud "fin" on one side.  Precast spandrels fill in the floor line between columns. 
    • Precast located on North and South Elevations will be done with a mobile crane.  The Longer East Elevation sits above below grade parking.  As a result this area will be done with the Contractors tower crane.  The remaining West Elevation is clad in curtain wall.
    •  Precast erection scheduled for December 1, 2001.
