street to Arban & Carosi, Inc.
- Concrete structure with approximately
35,000 ft2 of precast. Three elevation are clad
in precast with the fourth being field set brick with mason set
precast sills and copings.
- Natural stone runs up to the
2nd floor. From this point up the precast simulates
limestone block work. The finish will also simulate
limestone.
- All precast erection will be
done with mobile crane from the street. Erection is
scheduled to begin October 1, 2001.

- APA (Architectural Precast Association)
awards Arban & Carosi, Inc. the Fifth Annual Craftsmanship
award. This award recognizes architectural excellence in
crafting individual precast units as opposed to excellence in
completed structures. Several pictures and explanations of the
complexity of the precast shapes for One Irvington Center at King
Farm were submitted.

- West*Group awards Freddie Mac
(Phase IV) to Arban & Carosi, Inc.
- 5 story Office Building with a East and
West wing separated by a 5 story glass atrium with interior
precast at the lower level. Total precast 74,000 ft2 .
- Contractors tower crane will be used for
a portion of the erection. Delivery is scheduled for
December 2001.

- West tower erection complete up to the
14th floor. Precast panels located at crane and
man/material hoist will be done once these are removed.
15th floor and up will continue once fireproofing is complete.

Plaza (Phase II) to Arban & Carosi, Inc
- 6 story Office Building. Project
consists of approximately 33,000 ft2 of
precast spandrels and beam covers with ribbing at the top and
bottom portion of the spandrel.
- Erection to start March
2001.
- Greensboro

- Centex Construction Co., Inc. awards Arban
& Carosi Two Freedom
Square
- 17 story Office Building
located in Reston, Virginia. Approximately 115,000 ft2 of
precast. Project is located at the property west of One
Freedom square.
- Precast erection to start
June 2001 with the erectors mobile crane. A percentage of
the project will be finished with a post applied corrugated
metal panel installed in the field by others.
- Clark Construction Group awards Arban &
Carosi, Inc. American Red
Cross.
- Approximately 20,000 ft2
of precast Located on the North Elevation as well as all
the Penthouse. Precast erection to start July 2001
- There is no access along
the North Elevation. The entire project will be erected
with the Contractors tower crane. Crane limitations dictated
that the maximum precast weight would be 13,000 lbs at the tip.

- Chevy Chase Bank:
Erection of the West tower has started. Site photos are updated
showing the erection from the 5th floor with the mobile crane along Wisconsin Avenue.
Handset limestone has been installed up to the 5th floor. (click
